In your case you dont have that front cross-member and you have IFS. You could really almost put that engine any place and be good. But mocking it up will be worth the time. Check your steering shaft access and exhaust access prior to making the final position.

I'm assuming you will be running an electric fan, so your position of the engine to the radiator should not make much difference. Had you wanted to run a mechanical fan you would want it positioned as to pull air from the radiator.

Thanks yes will be running a mechanical fan.

If I raise the engine around 1" - it might solve my manifold clearance issue and also 100% ensure the oil pan is above the front Xmember. But IM not sure of any downside except hood clearance ?

If I move engine forward 2"-3" I might be able to get the motor mounts welded directly onto the front xmember - but then Im not sure how to tell what other issues I might create for myself.

Its the motor mounts that are MOSTLY throwing me off. But really the ramifications of going higher also on engine.

etc

If I push the engine back further - then no way motor mount can have its rear mount tab welded to the crossmmeber. So then to frame ? I havent seen anyone else have had to do this - so scratching my head a little also.
