I use bait blocks and a water tray in the attic.

Garage and shed/bbq has a garbage pale with antifreeze and 2 gateraid bottles with ohenry inside and peanut butter outside in the middle.
Gets the rats and mice. Then I dump them all out front of the immagrant slobs house out back.
