This topic has been posted many times in the past few weeks...

One day won't make a difference at all... even if everybody did it, they would fuel up a day or two before or after "the day". It would not impact the oil companies at all.

If you want to make an impact, reduce your fuel usage significantly, and permanently - and convince the rest of the world to do the same.
