I voted no. I can't imagine a single reason why this would be of benefit. It ain't broke, don't fix it. It's not like there is an endless supply, either. I come from the time when it took searching to find what you need. Now finding parts is so much easier people want to make it lazy easy. If it's worth having it's worth looking for. I see no one having a hard time finding and buying this New Old Stock right up. Usually sells faster than the other parts as it is now. I see setting them apart as only contributing to the already overly inflated prices shooting up all the more which, sorry sellers, is no good for the overall hobby. Only benefit I see is it would be easier to spot the same part being flipped and flipped, which seems to be the majority of the sale activity. How many here selling a New Old Stock part bought it from the dealership? How many bought the parts with the sole purpose of upping the price and reselling? I see no need for any help in this area.
