nothing wrong with an external pump setup, if you know what you are doing, and it seems like you do. i get a little mixed up when guys use tanks with an in tank pump and switch it to external. but if you dont have an in tank pump to begin with it makes plenty of sense.

it looks like you cleaned your camera lens! the artifacts I always look for in your pictures are not there any more haha
