I have been considering this for many years, but I don't like the bars that keep the rear end centralized. With a leaf spring suspension I wouldn't have to worry about it

Trialing arms could be made for the demension you want, heck its only sheet metal, or bars...

The crossmember that attaches the arms to the frame rails could be used and built off of that, but how do I get rid of the ugly transverse rods?

Maybe, Ill start sourcing parts and see how it fits up with 4WD
