I have seen that truck on here and like it. That looks to me like weathered paint rather than a flat red repaint though. And while you can see how the low/no gloss color lightens the paint, the actual flat (matte) red is uniform and creates a fuzzy, pinkish look to my perception.
Sounds like you're headed toward white from a comment in another thread. That'll look good.
