another fan of Mar-k. i used their kit and have seen several others used and they always look great.

there is also a company that makes a complete piece that is just one board cut to fit into your bed and on top of the metal bed. it has the metal bolts/strips and all the other to make it look like you have a wood bed, but you can take it out if you need to haul something and don't want to mess up the wood. heh, now that i think of it, that sounds kinda ricey

so, do you have to swap the front piece of the bed to switch from wood to metal? why is the switch necessary anyway?

lastly, anybody know where you can get the metal floor piece? mar-k can't get it
