Re: Original Truck Or Not?

It could be original. Pretty amazing. It would have had to had an awful good detailing job to be so fresh and clean. I'm not sure, but I think I saw paint overspray on the fuel tank.

They say a restored truck can never be as nice as original. a restored truck can never have that tight feel. I beg to differ. Kinda funny, "... and long beds are more practical". Oh yes, very important point. This work truck can haul and do much more work than a shortbed. And the hoods never raised on their own when new

I couldn't make out the rivets in the top corners of the grille. But a new GM grille had that much shine. We all know the rallyes and dual exhaust were added, nothing to judge the original claim by. Ok, so it's 99% original with a couple things that are easy to change, yet commonly seen and preferred. I am sure same meticulous hands have been over this truck. Some touch up, engine paint, disassemble to clean/detail. But that's not a restoration. Amazing there is not a single flaw in paint. It has obviously been gone over and through. But I can't tell from here whether it is a true original or not
