When I got into mine I found spray foam in the passenger side kick panel, rocker and it even made it into the cab support. They used it to have something for the bondo to stick to. It amplified the rot. Once you remove and replace the bad metal you can hit it with a coating that will seal it. I used the eastwood rust encapsulator inside the rocker and anywhere that I could get to to prep it. In tight spots like the 'a' pillar and roof area I used the internal frame coating with the 2 foot extension tube as well as I could. Drain holes are always a good idea too, as Metaldoc said.
