First I would soak all the body bolts you can get to with something like PB Blaster. On my K5 I loosen all of them by hand with a breaker bar no impact If you have any capured bolts you could really open a can of worms if you strip one of those. Next I did one side at a time. To get the body up I used a floor jack with a 4x4 and a 2x4 on top to spread the weight.

Cethern __________________ 72 K5 that needs lots of parts.. 71 GMC 3/4 4x4 That doesn't need much which is a good thing I don't think I could aford another money pit...
