Yes, the red air filter is actually an Oriellys special, that’s been swapped with a bigger version of it now. I bought the motor off a gentleman that was gonna swap it into his 96 c3500. He actually built the bottom end, and it has 6.5 heads on it. In the process of moving it from his other shop he lost the factory air box. So in saying that, to correctly route that line, would I have to weld a fitting onto the air intake tubing? I’m actually doing away with that cheap piece of 90 bend chrome the filter hooks up to, and making a piece of tubing that runs up on top of the passenger inner fender. Thanks for all the replies guys. This is all a learning experience for me, and I hadn’t even heard of the 6.2 till I bought this truck.
