Rotted cab mount
Just bought a 2002 GMC 2500 Extended cab Short box 6.0. Just got the word from the shop that was doing the safety for me and theres a rotted cab mount that the previous owner was hiding damn well (RR Body mount, body portion, not the frame mount)
Ive been looking online for over 2 hours now and i cant find anything for a replacement cab mount, i just find the frame mount or the bushings.
Does anyone have a source to find a replacement cab mount? or am i going to have to make the part as close as possible and drill out the spot welds? i dont mind making it cause ill use thicker gauge steel but i dont want to be wasting the time trying to measure it and get it right as i dont have too many body shaping tools at my shop other than SFH's and BFH's
Any help would be appreciated! if anyone knows if i can get one from GM even
