Did you make any changes before or even during the last time you had it out? Or since the last time it ran right?
That can be anything.
New gas cap
Worked on unrelated wiring under the dash
Then how many miles have you put on the truck lately before this issue?
If the truck sat in the garage for over five or six months while you were working on it with gas in the tank it could be bad gas gumming things up.
