some times when you bleed the slave (just like bleeding brakes) you only get a small amount of fluid out.
once the air is out there doesnt seem to be enough throw on the lever.
try this
have your helper hold the clutch pedal down then hold the throw out lever with a bar so it cannot return when he lets the pedal off. (the bleeder should be closed)
then have him or her press the pedal again and do the same thing
by holding the lever and pressing the pedal again fluid is forced into the slave thus giving you a complete throw on the release lever.
then you can give it one final air bleed and your pedal should be great
