Another difference between the 67-72s and the Squarebodies was the side steps. On the later trucks, they're hardly anything. On the "NewBreed" trucks you get a decent step. One you can stand on with both feet, or hang a gas can or water cooler. Since it needs to bear a greater load, there may be more supports and braces involved.
