On a side note: That's one of the reasons why I replaced mine with a newer 14-bolt, more parts, better gears and you don't have to pull the hub to work on the brakes.

The early 14-bolts require removing the axles to remove the drums. There are pros and cons involved with using the period correct Corporate 14-Bolt 10.5 FF axles. One is the smaller diameter drums allow 15" wheels to fit where the later model 14's will not..."Just sayin"
