Interesting I thought they had these somewhat fixed, especially with the gen 5. I assume it's a gen 5 in 2016. I had similar problems on my 07 but they had a design flaw, well the entire concept is a design flaw as far as I'm concerned.

Have you pulled the valve cover and inspected things? Maybe pull the rocker arms off and make sure nothing else is bent or broke.
