275 is too wide for a 7" rim IMO. I would do the 4.5" backspace 8".
I have a big block 1/2 ton 71 GMC in the yard that has 255 70 mounted on a set of 8" factory rallys from a square body. They are a good fit for the 8" rim. Truck has 225 70 15 on the front and they are slightly narrow for the 8"rim. If I had a factory 7" wheel I would switch to that on the front.
