If your dash is already cut I think I'd do the same. Do you still have the stock speaker in the dash? If not there are 2 stock bolt hole locations (1/4" in dia. 2 1/2" apart) for the stock speaker bracket at the top of the firewall (inside) , you could fabricate a bracket in that area and attach it to the back of your head unit for additional support (in the rear) and just use the install kit that came with it. I'm just about to install a stock AM radio (sort of as a working decoy) in my truck and think I'll go with installing a nice head (C.D. player) in my glovebox later on, later Doug
