ok
ive got what i thought to be an original clutch rod that i replaced with a new one from lmc its the part in the picture from Lock Doc, its threaded also, had a locking nut on it, so i assumed it had to be back on there
so the rod is basically held in place from pressure from the spring and clutch adjustment
