Was the GMC emblem on all 68-72 GM trucks and Jimmys??????????
Specifically want to know for a 72 GMC Jimmy.

I have a 1972 Jimmy. But the hood has been replaced. It is not the original hood, but it is an OEM, not an aftermarket hood.
There are with no GMC letters/emblems, or even holes for the emblems.
This 2nd hood probably came off a Chevrolet c/k truck or Blazer.

I do want to go with what was GMC Jimmy original. Not a no emblem clean look.

Would appreciate the help.
