You have to use glass tape. You can usually buy some from a local old school glass shop (Spedi glass style outfits may not have it) and/or even have them install the glass in the channel for a few bucks or get it from a supplier.

You might check with Apple Auto glass there in Beaverton http://www.beavertonautoglass.com/ They claim to have 30 years of experience but I'd still be looking for the oldest auto glass shop in the area.
