You should have the Dana 60 in your truck. Dana 60 with 3.54 gears was the standard/normal set up behind a big block engine in a 3/4 ton truck. You can identify it by taking a close look at the housing. You will see a 60 in the casting.

As far as value. I prefer the Dana but wouldn't pay more for a truck just because it had one. Now if it had posi or a locker in it, that would increase value whether it was the Dana or the Corporate/Eaton rear end.
