drop spindles is definatly the way to go. If you chop the front springs more than 2 coils, the ride will be awful and a lot of shops wont align it.
I really like those wheels! keep the 6 lug for the wheels and get 6 lug disc brakes. You wont regret going disc in the front. Were all here to chip in!
I did a mcgoughy 2.5 drop spindle with 6 lug discs and a 1" lowering spring and with the weight of the LS it looks GOOD! going to run 15x7 corvette rallyes in the front and 15x10 in the rears with a5" drop. A 4" drop spring will look good on a long bed as well. In fact, I have 4" rear springs that I mocked up and didn't use! (performance online) let me know if youd be interested in getting them.
