ligally the exhuast only has to run past the cab, mine doesn't have 1 bend on it, xpt on the drivers side to clear the cross member, we used 2 3inch turn downs from autozone and welded them together to make a step up, and ran it straight to the rear end and put the muffler there and another turn down, on the passinger side it is just a straight pipe angled up till the rear end and then a muffler, no turn down, u can by mandrel bends from summit and i think jegs too. there is also a universal tailpipe kit from flowmaster that comes with all sorts of bends and such in it. oh course if u don't have a welder u can't really make one...
