Mike, the way to get past the exhaust shop not having mandrel 2.5" systems is pretty easy. Have them bend the system the way you want it w/their standard 2.5" pipe. Go home & measure all the u-bends, then order only what you need to replace the shop bends. Take it back once you receive the mandrel-u's in & have them cut/splice the u-bends in where their shop bends were originally.

If it's a car guy you might even be able to purchase an allotment of mandrel bends in advance (summitt, headers by ed, sanderson, headman, etc) & have them just weld the bends in as they go. Sure it might cost a little more, but you would get what you want. Food for thought.
