On my dads 1964 c10 292 inline 6 with all drums and no power assist, the replacement brake line kit I got from classic industries did not coil the line right out if the master. Instead they put sort of saw toothed pattern in the line. Like triangular shaped. It seems to do the same job as the coils by allowing some flexibility in the line according to master cylinder position. I was able to just press the line down a little to get it to line up with the port on the master.
