I assembled my truck together from all original GM sheet metal and to get the gaps tight like I wanted I still had to open up the holes in the hinges to put the doors where I wanted.
There was some adjustment but still not enough. Like I said it was all GM parts.
If you have to use aftermarket you have to just assume you will have to alter/adjust in places where you normally would not have to.
