Yes, I block after every coat of primer, using 3M guide coat, and use a long board whenever possible. I use 180 until the low spots are all gone and then prime and block with 320, then prime and block with 600, then base coat clear coat it then friggin' sand again starting with 1000 grit all the way up to 1500 or 2000 grit then buffing with three different compounds. I don't do any of the paint work myself, a buddy of mine that owns the shop does that but the rest is my job.
