My son is also four and we are about to begin the frame off restoration on my stepside. He is so excited about working on it even though he has no idea what it is all about. He has been going through the magazines with me, picking out parts, colors, etc.

I have found that this has been very effective with the wife (aka, financial manager) since he is so fired up about it he talks to her about it almost every day, so she is starting to feel a little more committed to the project.

He helped me put nerf bars on my daily driver and that was great. He laid on my chest while we were both under the truck and he held the wrench on the nut while I tightened the bolt. His Mom of course was taking pictures the whole time!

Nothing like having a son that is into stuff that you are....of course I just hope it stays that way.
