Well, I bought a roller from the hardware store. I am not to impressed with this product. It just didnt seem to cover very well. And seems thin. I gallon barely did the bed and gate. I have not thrown anything in there to see how well it bonds. My bed floor was all in prime, so it may cover up better with paint. It seems more like that rubber undercoating then bed liner.
