not oil prices
the major part of the price increase (oil included) is our friends the chinease, they are buying all the oil and scrap steel for building stuff for us to buy at wal-mart, we brought a lot of this on ourselves by buying the cheap part-toy-shirt-etc... by the way i work in concrete and we will have a supply shortage and price spike in about another month as our friends at la-farge (french owned producer of concrete, biggest supplier to the u.s. via lehigh which they also own)) are selling the product to the china market as they are currently buying it at a rate faster than we are!
