I've got time to do some figuring yet with my project stalled at paint. I'm swapping a Gen IV 5.3 from an 08 Tahoe into a 65 C10.
Is it a reasonable option to just mount a nice tablet where your gauges would go and use the obd II port with a Bluetooth plugin scanner?
