Here's a guide to measuring for new shocks on a modified suspension...

...In a nut shell: measure the gap between shock mounts with your suspension fully compressed and again with the suspension fully extended. The guide describes in good detail how to get those measurements ( where to measure ). Then using those two measurements, find a shock that has the same or very close fully extended and completely compressed measurements and you've got your mark!
