Yep. It happens- I inherited several cars and while neat I couldn’t keep them all. Kept my faves and sold the others. Pops was a business man, he would understand.
My kids are still young but hopefully I can get them in to old cars. Taught one to drive my 68 c10 (stick, of course) when he was 6. They both like that rig but we’ll see
