Most people run 3/16" line...it is easier to bend and form for the most part. I am about to redo some of my brake lines and bought this forming/bending tool from Eastwood. Can do multiple size lines so is good for either or other projects. I already used it to reposition a steel line for my power steering hard line. It worked great.
