GM measurements could have been better. .66 up from the bottom of the tailgate to the center of the hole. (.625 is 5/8" ) .66 in a fraction is close to 21/32 right in between 5/8 and 11/16. Mine was a original CST gate with the lower holes, this is how they layed out.
