I had a conversation with GMCPauls via email, because I trust that they know what's what more than most vendors. I was pleased with the informative and professional response: "The front fender cups only made by 1 manufacturer and have the same issues. A lot of fender cups aren't rusted out from front to rear of cup and on those we recommend just cutting out rusted portion then cut in to repair panel vertically to get the front or most commonly rear section needed to perform the repair. "

So, until somebody tools up a better part, the guidance folks are giving here in this thread make this thread something great to bookmark. Thanks to the experienced folks on this forum for helping us understand how deal with stuff like this and answering questions. I have not begun dealing with this area of my truck yet, but now I feel more confident for when I get to that part.
