I had a big block with low vacuum in my C10 so I installed hydroboost.
My neighbor has a '74 Nova with a small block and a cam. His car has had vacuum issues its whole life. He has been through a lot of vacuum accumulators and also did the vacuum pump. But his brakes were always a "cross your fingers" type of experience.
Last time he was over in my garage he was grilling me about hydroboost setup, performance, companies etc.
Just saying....
