yea, i found that in the same thread that finally told me to push the rod up. I used one of the longer front bolts. I put the left long in the front but didnt tighten it all the way down. held pump in place with my hand, removed the other from the side and moved it to the front. Saved me 40min round trip to the Hardware store.

remember to put RTV on the short bolt when you put it back on to prevent oil leaks.
