I highly doubt they could push it fast enough to do all that damage. I mean, come on. Like you said, it drove in there, why would they even need to push it? They owe you the cost of repair. They should have garage liability.
And what's up with that bent push rod? It looks like "all thread". If it is it's way too soft to be used for that purpose.
