I pushed a hard start too long and too far. Fuel pump died on me while towing another truck.

I did drop the tank as well, in my driveway. Bed was way too rusty to risk pulling it and breaking all the bolts holding it on. Kinda wish I cut a hole in the bed but there was a plastic bedliner in the way. I had to install a new filler neck anyways.
Another protip, the clip nuts for the straps can't take much abuse. Snapped one putting the tank back in, new Dorman one too.
Oh well it's in.
