The material removed was 4" diameter & will possibly need refining. I want to leave as much of the existing upper mount as possible to support the use of an upper bag plate. It's easy enough to take more off where needed if required.
I have a couple small items to finish preparing for the remainder of the drivers side set-up so that I can decide on possible changes.
