[Rac65]

I bought new tailgate hinges a while back and finally got around to installing them but the round part that fits in the tailgate is too big. I tried them on my new one and my old one with the same result. I called the place where I bought the hinges and they swear its the right ones but they don't fit. Have any of you guys run into this problem? They tried to tell me I have the wrong tailgate but it is just like the one I took off and I am 99 percent sure the old one is original. .Any ideas?
