Take the calipers off and lube the slides. Also may be a good time to go ahead and put new pads on....just to make sure that the pistons aren't coming too far out of their bores. It's possible that the combination valve has too much residual back pressure from being dirty/ stuck. Maybe flush out the system with all fresh fluid before tossing parts at it. My $0.02
