Unless the steering column is a tilt it did not use a bulb. They used a fiber optic cable.

Here is a picture of what the cable looks like and where it connects on the back of the cluster.... (right picture borrowed from member TBONE1964... Thanks Tom) The small end of the cable just plugs into the bottom of the indicator housing.
