I install one in every truck I own. It's a good way to get the cab cooler here in the south.
Just for some more info. Even if the heater is off the hot water can come into the heater core.
My Ramp truck is only heat and it would get so hot you couldn't stand it. I put the shut off in the line and it's nice during the summer now.

After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
