As a young boy I went with my Dad trying to order that truck. No one wanted to do it. Finally A dealer said I know how to get that truck and he did. My Dad sold the 72 and in 76 order a moss gold stepside with a 454. It was a special order truck. I have the paperwork. I think just about any 1/2 ton with a big block was a special order. 3/4 tons with big block just like in the 67-72s are much more plentiful. Either way you have a nice truck.
