I feel your pain. Rochester Bs are prone to warp, I would bet 99% of them are. Next time you split it open, place a straight edge on it to see if the horn is bowed. There's multiple solutions on the internet to fix or at least lessen that annoying dribble at the gastket. As for the acceleration, or lack of, check out this
video which addresses the issue, also, checking the vacuum and adjusting might help a bit. If you're truly tired of it and want to move on, I've heard good things about monojets and there's other options like
